GIANT VIETNAMESE CENTIPEDE

Scolopendra Subspinipes   [Full Taxonomy]

This creature is the stuff of nightmares.  Some have stated that when presented

with Centipedes in general that they get a severe case of the Heebie-Jeebies.  I

contend that the Giant Vietnamese Centipede, which is very fast, very aggressive,

and delivers an extremely painful bite, in fact ARE the Heebie-Jeebies.

This one was acquired from Krazy8sInvertebrates at the NARBC Show

on September 9th, 2007.  It is currently about 6" long but can be expected

to as much as double that.

I advise strongly against snuggling...
